coaching.Much of our work is with themed projects. These are usually a lot of fun and involve special outfits, costumes, and props. The eras of the 40's and 50's captures the pinup fashion, make-up, and hair styles we love to work with - where we can we will give it a diesel punk twist. We also love capturing cosplay, steampunk, burlesque and modern pinup and alternative looks.
Although I (Peter) am a photographer, I see myself as a digital artist. This is a fancy way of expressing that there are two important components to creating an image. First, of course, is creating the environment for the photograph and making the exposure. The second part of this process is post-production - the digital editing of the image. This may entail no more than simple retouching or color balancing. However, it could also involve major artistic changes in the image.
I have been interested in photography since the 80's and worked in a photo lab while studying at uni - when film died so did the lab and I moved on and developed my skill in painting. I have done some digital design work with games companies in the past. Now I am merging all my skills and working again in photography.
I have a diploma in photography and Aye Candy is a trained make-up artist.
